Error reporting on the Blogger dashboard

In a previous post I noted that the tool tip associated with the Select all posts check box reads Select all comments instead (tsk, tsk).

The Blogger interface has a Send feedback button (circled) which I assume is for this sort of thing. Clicking it brings up a pop-up box that automatically grabs a screen shot of the page.

Unfortunately you can't have the tool tip up and select the Send Feedback option at the same time. But I can point to what I mean by selecting Click to highlight or hide info in the middle of the screengrab.

After which you can use the highlight tools to mark the issue you have or block out any sensitive information that you think Google doesn't already have.

The tool is quite nice as it will automatically select a feature if you hover over it and you can draw as many rectangles as required. Each rectangle can be deleted by hovering over it and clicking the X that appears in the top right hand corner.

Once you have marked up the problem and added a note just click SEND.

You get a tiny Thank you for the feedback pop-up and that's it.

Don't know if they will send a response, if they will do anything about it, or even if anyone looks at them. Let's wait and see and check in a month's time.

The new Blogger interface was updated about a year after I sent in this comment and the error was fixed on the new interface that was rolled out from May 2020.

Further adventures in household paper products

As the toilet rolls are up and running I couldn't resist adding the rest of the loft stocks into the mix. The next two items are kitchen roll and facial tissues . Following the same process described for toilet rolls; kitchen roll comes in a multipack, but this time a case has four packs of three rolls and we already have the storage location, shop and quantity units set up. Again, I think we'll have to set up a generic item (Parent product) as well as a specific one for the Kirkland brand rolls (Child product). So I gave it a name, Kitchen roll and a description; default storage location and shop, Loft / Costco ; a min stock amount, 3 rolls ; all the quantity units are Roll . Job done. How to Delete a Government Gateway ID

As described earlier , here are the instructions from HMRC on how to delete a Government Gateway ID (GG ID), should you choose to do so. 1. Login to your account with the GG ID you wish to delete. You'll need your GG user ID and password. This will also require access to your second factor authorisation device. 2.
